Memory Academy

This 5-week course was created by UCLA Center on Aging. The class provides memory improvement techniques designed to work for everyone. The course explains how memory works; offers quick strategies for remembering names, faces and numbers; provides basic memory tools such as linking ideas and creating visual images; and maximizes the effectiveness of using memory aids such as lists. Each class includes multiple hand-outs including a summary and skill-builder (homework). The cost of the class also includes "The Memory Bible" by Dr. Gary Small. (This program is not intended for people with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia)
